Career
He played seven seasons with the Detroit Tigers (1901–1902, 1906–1908) and Saint Louis Browns (1903–1904). Born in Goddard, Kansas, Siever had four good seasons and one phenomenal season in his brief major league career. Siever"a adjusted European Research Area+ of 191 for the years is the second-best (after Hal Newhouser) in Tigers franchise history for a pitcher with more than 150 innings pitched.
Overall for his career, Siever had an 83–83 record with a 2.60 European Research Area, and pitched in the 1907 World Series.
