Career
In 1885, Edmund Waller left for Japan living 23 years there, then he returned to Shanghai on May 31, 1911. In 1886-1888, he worked at Shanghai Volunteer Corps, in 1888 - the 1st Lieut. Also, he was Director of sundry Companies and member of Committee Shanghai Club.
