Carshalton; Woolwich. Obtained commission in Royal Artillery, 1860.
Career
Commanded a battery in Soudan Campaign, 1884 (despatches, received brevet promotion). Was Colonel on Staff commanding R.A., Cork District, 1894-1898. Succeeded to the family estates on the death of his eldest brother, 1898. Royal Artillery; Justice of the Peace for Devon, and Lord of the Manor of Okehampton.
