Ophthalmic Assistant, St. George’s Hospital, 1874. Made honorary perpetual pupil, St. Thomas’s Hospiral, 1874. Also studied at Middlesex Hospital and Children’s Hospital, Great Ormond Street.
Commenced practice at Clapham, 1875. Retired from Claj-iliam, 1905. President of Quekett Microscopical Club, 1904-1908.
Past President Brighton and Hove Natural History and Philosophical Society. Past Vice-President Royal Astronomical Society. Vice-President Royal Microscopical Society. ; 1874.
