Until the age of ten, Edouard Moradpour studied at the primary French school in Tehran, then continued education in Paris at the Janson de Sailly Lyceum, and then in high school, receiving a bachelor's degree in mathematics. In 1971 he received a university degree in marketing and management from the Higher Commercial School in Paris (HEC), the equivalent of Harvard Business School.
His career in the advertising business begins in 1971 in Paris as an intern at the advertising agency NCK (currently FBC). He quickly climbs the career ladder in the client service area, working in five major international advertising agencies: after NCK he enters the Havas Advertising group, then Leo Burnett Paris, then EURO-RSCG (with Jacques Seguela) and finally in Saatchi & Saatchi Paris as a member of the Board of Directors.
At the end of 1982, together with three companions, he creates his own business in Paris: MGTB agency (Moradpour, Gilder, Treger, Beli).
In 1987 he sells his shares to his companions and to the AYER group (the agency was named MGTB-AYER) and starts creating a new advertising agency with the Young & Rubicam group - the MDLP agency (Moradpour, Dalzas, Langlois, Pisanti).
From 1989 to 1993 he spends a lot of time in Russia and quickly opens two agencies: SARAT URSS and INTERSPACES, two associations complementing each other in the sphere of advertising.
It was 1994 when Eduard Moradpour met the Leo Burnett group. He was invited by the agency Leo Burnett Paris (Bordelay, Lemenier, Leo Burnett) to open the Leo Burnett group office in Russia.
Since 1994 Eduard Moradpour finally settles in Moscow in order to create here a large international advertising agency with true "Russian roots". Today, the agency Leo Burnett & Moradpour Moscow, established in 1995, is in the leading group of major advertising agencies in Russia.
Edouard Moradpour is married and has a daughter.
