Achievements include discovery of of the thrusting structure of the Valencia trough (Western Mediterranean); contribution to analise the structure of conical folds; research in first balanced cross-section through the northern Carpathians; first to application of 3D balancing techniques to reconstruct the Western Mediterranean structure. Member of American Association of Petroleum Geologists.
