Beers, Edward M. was born on May 27, 1877 in Nossville, Huntingdon Company, Pennsylvania, United States. Son of Anderson and Mary E. Beers.
Graduated from the high school, Mount Union, Pennsylvania, 1895.
Succeeded father In hotel business, 1895. Was also identified with agricultural pursuits: delegate Republican State Convention, Pennsylvania. Mayor of Mount Union, 1910-1914.
