In 1917 he joined his father’s office and continued in practice with him until his own death at the age of forty-five. Edward B. Green, Sr. survived him.
Though his career was of short duration, Mr. Green was identified with the planning of several public buildings in Buffalo and other cities, important examples of which were the Buffalo Athletic Club, 1921-24; Art Museum, Toledo, O., 1926-31; Art Institute, Dayton, O., 1927-29; State Office Build¬ing, Buffalo, 1929, in association with A. Hart Hopkins of New York, and State Architect, Haugaard; Buildings at the University of Buffalo: Crosby Hall, 1930-31, Lockwood Memorial Library, 1933, and Norton Hall, 1933.
