In practice under the name of Hapgood & Hapgood, he was connected with the planning or supervision of various public buildings in Connecticut. Among his best known works were the Hall of Records at Manchester, Conn.; High School ot Simsbury, and the Rossia Insurance Office Building at Hartford. At the Louisiana Purchase Exposition held in St. Louis in 1904 the firm designed the Connecticut State Building, and he was associated with Donn Barber on the State Library and Supreme Court Building, c. 1910, at Hartford.
