Became involved with Thomas More and Robert Emmet (leaders of Irish Revolution) while at Trinity College. Imprisoned by British in Fort George, Scotland, 1798-1802. Exiled to Holland at conclusion of Treaty of Amiens, 1802.
Came to American, settled in Philadelphia, 1803.
Practiced dentistry, Philadelphia, 1810-1833. One of 1st to perform operation removing dental pulp and filling root of tooth with gold foil.
