Career
He represented Bottineau County in the North Dakota"s 28th legislative district. Edward Garden was born November 30, 1873 in Decorah, Iowa. He served vice president of the North Dakota Hardware Dealers Association and president of the Souris Commercial Club prior to be elected to the North Dakota Legislature.
Edward Garden served two terms in the North Dakota House of Representatives as a Republican from 1907 to 1910.
He was later elected to one term in the North Dakota Senate from 1911 to 1914.
