Career
Fellow and Tutor, Queen"s College, 1862-1864. Rector of Gatcombe, Isle of Wight. Honourable Dublin; Canon of Canterbury since 1903.
Principal of Saint Edmund Hall since 1864, and Honourable Fellow of Pembroke College and of Queen's College, Oxford. Corresponding Member of the Accadeinia Della Crusca and Fellow of the British Academy, 1906.
