Tutor mathematics and Greek, Hamilton College, Clinton, New York, 1818. Went to Andover (Massachusetts) to check printing of certain portions of the Iliad which he edited with Latin introduction and notes, 1822. Licensed to preach by Hartford South Association, 1822.
