Alumnus College of St. Francis Xavier, New York, class of ’79. Entered Society of Jesus, July 31, 1876.

Career

Ordained R. C. priest, 1891. Vice president St. Francis Xavier’s College, New York, 1893-1895. Professor various branches in Baltimore, Boston, and Philadelphia until 1902.

Correspondent secretary American Catholic History, Society, 1899-1902. Professor classics and advanced English, College of Holy Cross, Worcester, Massachusetts, 1902-1906. Assistant edior the Messenger, 1907-1908, of America, 1909-1914.

Attached to Church of the Gesu, Philadelphia, 1914-1919, Church of St. Ignatius Loyola, New York City, since 1919.
