Service as clerk, Wabash, St. Louis & Pacific Railway, December 1879, now the Wabash R.R., with which was identified, as clerk, general bookkeeper, and chief clerk, 1880-1887, assistant auditor, 1887-1903, also assistant secretary, and assistant to the vice president, 1900-1903, assistant to the president, January 1, 1903-October 18, 1905, vice president, October 18, 1905-December 1911, receiver same, 1911-November 1, 1915. President State National Bank, St. Louis, 1914-1929. Chairman of the Board Mississippi Valley Merchants State Trust Company, July 1, since 1929.
