Gamble, Edward Hill was born on May 12, 1943 in Morristown, Tennessee, United States. Son of James Vernon and Anna Bewley (Hill) Gamble.


Bachelor in Political Science, University of South Florida, 1970. Postgraduate, University Tennessee, 1972.
