Practiced medicine, Mount Sterling, Kentucky, 1867-1873. Ordained Presbyterian ministry, 1876. Pastor Salem, Kentucky, 1876-1877, Mount Sterling, 1877-1879, 1st Church, Louisville, 1880-1883, Troy and Wilmore, 1885.
