Appointed general attorney L. & North. Railroad Company, 1912, assistant general counsel, 1920-1921, became vice-president and general counsel, April 21, 1921, resigned October 21, 1943, becoming advisory counsel

Federal counsel same road under Railroad Administration, 1918-1920. Formerly president International Convention Disciples of Christ (Christian Church), Chairman of the Board University of Louisville.

Chairman Frontier Nursing Service.
