Career
He has been the architecture and design critic of The Financial Times since 1999, and is the author of books on architecture and design. He has a monthly column on architecture and design in Gentlemen’s Quarterly Magazine and is the editor-in-chief of online design writing archive wwwreadingdesign.org
Heathcote is also a trustee of the Blood Mountain Foundation in Budapest and architectural charity Open City in London.
