Career

New York, December 23, 1884 (died October 22, 1919). Treasurer Galena-Signal Oil Corporation, Franklin, Pennsylvania, 1886-1916. Pensioned, November 1, 1916.

Manager for over 25 years of stock farm which produced many noted animals, among them the cow “Passport” that held for many years the highest yearly milk record in the Jersey breed. Sold 14 American bred Jersey cattle to a breeder of Japan—the 1st sale in the United States ever made direct to Japan. President Pennsylvania Jersey Cattle Club 7 years, Cornell Association Railway and Supply Men, 1909-1910, Franklin Public Library.

1900-1912; one of incorporators and 1st treasurer Franklin Hospital, 4 years. Member American Jersey Cattle Club, Theta Delta Chi, etc.
