1928 graduate secondary school. 1928-1931 studied at Leningrad Machine-Building Institute.
Wrote in Russian; taught Russian language at Aksay village school. 1931-1935 exec secretary, Dag Writers’ Organisation Editor, Dag State Publ House.
Contributed to Kumyk newspaper “Yeldash,” then to newspaper “Mclodoy leninets” in Pyatigorsk. During World War 2 front-line correspondent for newspaper “Dagestanskaya pravda”. Also worked for newspaper ‘‘Vperyod za Rodinu,” which was publishedon theNorth Caucasian Front.
Influenced by Russian classical lit and Dag folklore. Translated verse of Suleyman Stal’skiy and Caucasian folk ballads into Russian.
