Career
He lived at Negishi in Edo and made almost all of the wood plates for the books of the Shoheiko, the Shogunatc College. He also made plates for Dai Ni-hon Shi or History of Greater Japan, at the recommendation of Saishu Hayashi, director of the Shoheiko.
