Egor Ivanovich Nazarov

Background

Egor Ivanovich Nazarov was born in 1848 or 1849 in Yelets, Oryol region, Russian Federation. He was the son of the impoverished merchant.

Education

Egor Ivanovich Nazarov did not attend either schools or colleges and was studying on his own.

Career

Egor Ivanovich worked as a waiter, counterjumper, broker, clerk and record keeper. From the beginning of the 1870s, he published his poems and stories in newspapers and collective works. Since the end of 1880s he often visited Voronezh, where his works were published in the local press.

Achievements

• In spite of his difficult childhood Nazarov Egor Ivanovich was able to reveal his talent in writing poems and stories and gave his works to people.
