Graduated from Tokyo Higher Commercial School (1915).
Career
He entered the Furukawa Gomei Company and then transferred to the Furukawa Shoji (Trading) Company (1917). Moved to the Furukawa Mining Company (1927) and became president after serving various leading posts in the company. Assumed post of director of Furukawa Electric Machinery Company (1952).
