Career
Eikichi Yamanouchi was engaged in the sales of fertilizer. He served as a president of Kumamoto Mujin Kaisha (Kumamoto Mutual Financing Company) and executive of a few other local companies. He was the president of Kumamoto Sogo, Ginko (Kumamoto Mutual Financing Bank) and auditor of Showa Kagaku Kogyo Kaisha (Showa Chemical Industry Company).
Later he held various additional posts including those of director of Showa Shoji Kaisha (Showa Trading Company) and counselor of Kumamoto Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
