Career
Eileen Chong is a contemporary Australian poet. She moved to Sydney, Australia in 2007. Her book, Burning Rice, was published in 2012 by Australian Poetry Limited in the New Voices Series 2012 and re-published in 2013 by Pitt Street Poetry.
Her new collection, Peony, is also published by Pitt Street Poetry in She has been mentored by the Australian poets Judith Beveridge and Anthony Lawrence.
