Succeeded to family profession of operating Nakai Seisakujo (Manufacturing Plant) and in 1945 became permanent director of Lumber Control Union and Lumber & Forestry Industry Union，director and chief director of Iwate Prefectural Tourist Industry Association, Iwate Prefectural Commission for Housing. Flood Disaster Rehabilitation Council, Railway Construction Commission and River Improvement Commission and thereafter became chairman of Miyako Chapter of Socialist Party, in 1948 became the director of Countermeasure Department of Iwate Prefectural League of Assemblies and chairman of Miyako Lumberers' Union. From 1947 was elected twice to Iwate Prefectural Assembly. Inn 1953 was elected to House of Representatives. Served as chief secretary of Iwate Prefectural League of Right-Wing Socialist Party, director of Iwate Prefectural Pottery Manufacturing Company, and president of Miyako Soy and Miso (Bean Paste) Brewing Company. Operates Nakai Manufacturing Plant.
