In 2015, Mitrofanova debuted at the Russian Junior Championships, finishing 11th. 2015-2016 season

Making her international debut, Mitrofanova placed 6th at the 2015 Junior Grand Prix (JGP) in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Achievements

• She won the silver medal at the JGP in Torun, Poland, finishing 21.22 points behind Polina Tsurskaya of Russia and 4.74 ahead of Rin Nitaya of Japan.
