R. Dean Welch and Robert J. Barber have been practicing law in South Carolina since the 1970"s and established their partnership in 1988, after leaving general practice firms with multiple locations.
Because of the natural appeal of the South Carolina coast and the Myrtle Beach area, the firm now maintains one office in the Myrtle Beach area and is a self-limited practice dealing with real estate, business and commercial law throughout South Carolina and the eastern United States. Principal representation also includes resort development, community association and condominium law.
Zoning and land use law, together with a proficiency in civil trial practice in these areas. Mr. Welch is a regular speaker throughout the state at continuing legal education programs involving real estate development law.
