She graduated from Art School named after M.B. Grekova in the city of Rostov-on-Don (1970). Also, she graduated from the Drama Faculty of the Leningrad State Institute of Theater, Music, and Cinematography named after N.K. Cherkasov, specialty "artist-sculptor puppet theater" (1981).
She worked at the Rostov Puppet Theater as a production designer until 1976. Also, she worked as a chief artist at the Chelyabinsk Puppet Theater (1981-1987). Since 1987, the chief artist of the Voronezh Puppet Theater "Shut", where she created scenography and dolls for the performances "Dead Souls" based on the novel by Nikolai Gogol (1983), "The Lake Boy" based on the novel by Pavel Vezhinov (1987), "Comedy of Errors" based on the William Shakespeare’s play (1998), “White Bim Black Ear,” based on the novel by Gavriil Troepolsky (2000) and others. She designed more than 50 performances in various cities of Russia and abroad.
She was a member of the Artists' Union (1985), laureate of the K.S. Stanislavsky State Prize (1985), Honored Artist of Russia (1995), laureate of the State Prize for achievements in the field of Literature and Art (1999).
Since 1985, she was multiple participants and winner of Russian and international festivals of puppet theaters, regional, zonal, All-Russian theater and art exhibitions, a laureate of the creative contests “Event of the Season” (1994-1995, 1995-1996, 2000-2001).
Works of Lutsenko (dolls and sketches of scenery) are in the Moscow Theater Museum named after A.A. Bakhrushin, Moscow Museum of Children's Theaters, Chelyabinsk Picture Gallery, Museum of the Voronezh Puppet Theater "Shute".
