Elena Petrovna Grot

Background

Elena Petrovna Grot was born into a family of an officer, who was assigned to be the head of Voronezh escort team in 1899.

Education

She had finished Bestuzhev Courses on history and philology in St. Petersburg in 1916.

Career

Her works were published in "Russian Life" periodical of San-Francisco and, since 1953, in "New Russian Say" periodical of New-York City. She is the author of "Candle Ignited" poetry collection (San-Francisco, 1930) and "Featured poems and outlines" book (Madrid, 1969).
