Elhanan Adler was born on December 18, 1942, in Boston, Massachusetts, United States.
In 1968 Elhanan Adler moved to Israel, where he got educated at Yeshiva University and Simmons College. At Yeshiva University he got his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts. From Simmons College where he got his Master of Science.
Elhanan Adler has extensive working experience but for the most part of his life, he was working as Assistant Director at the Library of University of Haifa (1968-1997) and as Network coordinator at MALMAD from 1977 till now.
