Career

Has lived in Chicago, since 1863. Admitted to bar, 1873, but did not begin practice until 1876. Company attorney Cook Company, Illinois, 1882-1884, 1886-1889, in 1889 as company attorney, established validity of law permitting annexation of Hyde Park, Lake View and other suburbs.
