Blum, Elias was born on February 22, 1881 in Eisdorf, Hungary. Son of Elias and Eva (Glaser) Blum.

Education

Student New England Conservatory, Boston. Studied under Dr; graduate Grand Ducal School of Music, Weimar, Germany, 1908.

Career

Director Conservatory of Music, Whitman College, Walla Walla, Wash. Dean of fine arts Des Moines U., 1926-1927. Composer of anthems, choruses, songs, choruses with orchestra, piano and organ solos, notably Capriccio in B Minor (piano).
