Joined police force, 1959. Transferred to Police Mobile Unit, 1968. Advanced to lieutenant colonel in charge of welfare.
Undertook specialized training overseas, 1978, 84. Responsible for Ministries of Planning, Economic Affairs and Manpower Department, Information and Broadcasting, Public Service and Employment, Social Welfare and Pensions, 1986. Member Military Council, since 1986.
Now chairman military council, minimum defense and internal security.
