Career
She is currently a presenter on SKY Digitals Fitness television and can be seen on Wake Up With Elise Lindsay. More recently she coordinated an extensive six week Fitness television special titled Hi Impact Aerobics and appeared on the Cyber coach dance system. Her co-host on the show was ex Coronation Street regular Scott Wright.
Lindsay, who met (the then) McLoughlin in July 2004 while filming a fitness video helped transform McLoughlin"s frame for her upcoming wedding to the young England international.
The transformation turned McLoughlin (now Rooney) into a fashion icon and reality television celebrity almost overnight. Lindsay has also appeared in, and has been credited as the driving force behind McLoughlin"s best selling fitness Digital Video Disc Brand New Body Workout.
Outside of her association with McLoughlin, she has also been snapped putting Bianca Gascoigne and former East Enders star Natalie Cassidy through their paces. Foreign the record, due to the often confidential nature of her work it is unknown at present how many individuals in the public gaze Lindsay has trained up or advised.
But it is likely considerable.
Lindsay"s profile boosting collaborations with Mcloughlin have led to a slew of press attention in particularly centered around her much excerpted 2008 book How To Get a Celeb"s Body. Lindsay has made many television appearances in recent years, most notably on This Morning, GMTV and British Broadcasting Corporation World and a number of documentaries on Channel 4, Channel 5 and Sky. An example of her eye for new fitness trends and techniques is her master trainer status in two alternative but effective modes of exercise.
Namely. the "Flexi-Bar" a device akin to a stick and an unstrung archery bow which when shaken at varying arm lengths emits rapid vibrations which aim to strengthen and tone the upper and lower body. Kangoo Jumps (another Lindsay forte) is rather more dynamic.
lieutenant consists of a 2 rounded spring like devices being mounted to the bottom of footwear in which the individual proceeds to either run or jump in a random or rhythmic fashion. The benefits of the exercise is the intensive all body motion required to propel the coil and its negation of much of the impact on knee joints which conventional running, jump rope and step exercise may cause.
She recently designed a 6 week exercise routine to be used in conjunction with the Slendertone system.
