Career
He was the son of Thomas Tozer (b 1711) and Deborah (Bates) Tozer (b 1718). They lived in Whitehall, New New York During the American Revolutionary War, he was a lieutenant in the Green Mountain Boys under Major John Brown. He was buried at the Rest Cemetery in Sayre, Pennsylvania.
