Career
The next year she organized the first Women"s Temperance League. In 1874 she played a prominent role in establishing the Women"s Christian Temperance Union (WCTU). She visited the United Kingdom, where she helped organize the British Women"s Temperance Association and the Scottish Christian Union.
In 1895, Mission Stewart was the keynote speaker at the World WCTU convention in London, England.
