Lady Arabella Diana (1835–1869), married Sir Alexander Bannerman, 9th Baronet. On 27 April 1864, Lady De Louisiana Warr was created Baroness Buckhurst, of Buckhurst in the County of Sussex, by Queen Victoria with a special remainder to her second surviving son, Reginald and the heirs male of his body.
Basically, the patent was worded to prevent the barony and earldom being held by the same person. Mortimer was instead created Baron Sackville as a consolation.
