Elizaveta Fominichna began stage activities in 1846 in Rybinsk. She worked in the provinces for about 35 years (Astrakhan, Vologda, Kazan, Samara, Yaroslavl and other cities). She repeatedly toured in the city of Voronezh, including the 1873-1874 season. From 1881 she worked in Moscow: first, in the theater of A.A. Brenko, since 1882 in the theater of F.A. Korsch. She performed mainly the roles of "old women", among them: Kabaniha, Ulita, Kukushkina ("Thunderstorm", "Forest", "Profitable Place" by Alexander Nikolaevich Ostrovsky), Poshlepkina ("Auditor" by Nikolai Vasilyevich Gogol), the cook ("Fruits of Enlightenment" by Lev Nikolayevich Tolstoy) and others.
