Goldsmith-Vein started her career as a real estate mortgage broker. Subsequently, she worked as a secretary at William Morris Agency. She later worked for Nelvana, followed by Atlas Entertainment.
Goldsmith-Vein founded the Gotham Group, a television animination company, in January 1994.
Five years later, in 1999, it merged with Michael Ovitz"s Artist Management Group. However, when she signed a $300 million contract with the government of South of Korea to make eight animated movies in 2008, she still served as its chief executive.
Goldsmith-Vein is a television and film producer.
