Career
He was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame in 1972. He was also the 19th head football coach for the Colgate University Raiders, holding that position for three seasons, from 1919 until 1921. His overall coaching record at Colgate was 10 wins, 10 losses, and 5 ties.
