Career
Maloku passed through various clubs in the Rijeka region, before moving to the youth setup of the local Prva HNL side HNK Rijeka in early 2012. In the 2012-2013 season he was the top scorer of the club"s U17 team, scoring 13 goals in 26 appearances. Maloku is a Croatian youth international, playing for the Croatia national under-17 football team in the summer of 2013.
Maloku is also eligible to play for the Albania.
Maloku accepted a call-up from head coach Skënder Gega to play for Albania national under-21 football team He also stated that he would play for Albania national team at senior international level should a chance arise.
