Kabashi was born in Durrës but moved to Italy as a child along with his family. Juventus
Following a successful loan spell playing with the Juventus youth team, Kabashi was signed outright from Empoli for a fee of €2 million. He signed for Juventus alongside fellow Empoli youth player Daniele Rugani.
