Director Arkansas Agricultural Experiment Station, 1959-1972.

Pathologist United States Military Government, Korea, 1947, Point 4 Program, Panama, 1952. Consultant pathologist, Cuba, 1955, Ford Foundation, India, 1959. Exhibited landscapes in local and regional shows, since 1973.

Represented in private permanent collections. Named Arkansas Man of Year, Progressive Farmer, 1970.
