Education

Emiliya Satalkina graduated from the Kiev branch of the Ukrainian Polygraphic Institute (Lviv, 1970).

Career

Emiliya Satalkina worked in Kiev as the controller of the technical control department at the mechanical plant and the plant of electrical measuring equipment (1960-1964). Editor of the publishing department of the Republican Children's Library (Kiev, 1978-1980), senior corrector of Vesyolka publishing house (1980-1983), the literary editor of the publishing house "Muzichna Ukrapna" (1983-1986), literary consultant of the newspaper "Young Ukrapni" (1987-1993).

Based in the city of Voronezh since 2007. Emiliya Satalkina writes in Ukrainian and Russian. The author of 10 collections of poems, including "Kruchinushka" (Kiev, 2000), "Revelation" (Kiev, 2002), "Russia is calling" (Kiev, 2004), "Burning memory the sun" (Voronezh, 2008).
