Emlyn Watkins born in Blaina, was a Welsh dual-code international rugby union and professional rugby league football player of the 1920s, playing representative level rugby union for Wales, and at club level for Blaina Reconstruction Finance Corporation, as a Flanker, id est (that is) number 6 or 7, and playing representative level rugby league for Wales, and at club level for Leeds, as a second-row, id est (that is) number 11 or 12, during contested scrums, he died in Walsall.
