Career
On 10 August 2014, Boateng made his professional debut with Rio Avenue in the Super Cup 2014 match against South.L. Benfica. On 7 July 2015, Boateng and his teammate Ernest Ohemeng made a permanent move to fellow Primeira Liga side Moreirense. He was part of the Ghana national under-20 football team, who played the 2015 Fédération internationale de football association U-20 World Cup in New Zealand.
