Priest of the Yachuji Temple in Kawachi Province (Osaka Prefecture) of the Shingon Sect. He became a priest in 1638 and made pilgrimages in various provinces. Advocated strict observance of Buddha’s commandments. Became chief priest of the Yachuji Temple, which was in a state of dilapidation, and restored it to its former shape.
