Career
He spent a year studying Korean at Konkuk University, then went to study at Hanyang University with a scholarship for Information Technology management after also being accepted to Seoul National University and of Korea University. In 2010, he acted in his first movie, Haunters, and then decided not to pursue a full-time acting career. “In of Korea, we have a good image.
We’re a brother country,” he said of his homeland.
Most important part is, for me, how can I make this image better and better? Because from now on, I’m not just working for myself ― I’m working for my country.” In addition to modeling, Kaya has appeared on Arirang television, Business School, MBC, and on Korean Broadcasting System"s Global Talk Show. In his 2014 appearance on the talk show, Non-Summit, of the eleven male foreigners, who all speak Korean, he is considered the most conservative panelist.

Kaya was to make his film debut in June 2015 in a supporting role for a Korean erotic thriller Perfect Proposal. He gave fake hope to the victims that he would marry them by saying that "we are going to marry earlier than you guys" at a meeting with his friends.
Many victims who suffered deep pain because of the shock from his betrayal, came up to the media day after day, with many presenting KakaoTalk messages as proof of his lies, where he said “come over and spank me,” while in other chats, he said that there are still so many things they need to do with one another, including “kisses” and “massages.” Some of the victims quit their jobs and could not sleep without medication because of depression, "haunted by his sweet words".
